Bobbi Brown has a reputation for high quality neutrals, but she slipped up with this palette. The shadows here look like they would be ideal for everyday use, but they are of such poor quality that you can barely get any pigment from them. The first one doesn’t show up on my skin at all (and I’m quite pale), and the middle three only show up with the application of a lot of shadow. Even when you’ve been through this lengthy process, the shadows look more or less the same to me. The darker shadow is the only one that shows up without a fight, but it’s difficult to to get an even application. The brush it comes with is completely ineffectual, and to open the palette you need to slip your thumbnail underneatht the clasp, ruining your manicure every time you need eyeshadow. Definitely not one to repurchase.
I’ll have it!
