Ellis Faas

After taking pity on me for the outrageous prices we’re charged for cosmetics in Australia, LondonMakeupGirl was kind enough to send me two Ellis Faas products:  Creamy Eyes in 105 and Blush in 302. I’ve never tried Ellis Faas before, so I was super excited to tear open the box and see what they’re like.  Reviews will follow shortly, but I think you’re probably unsurprised to learn that I absolutely love them both!

You can read much, much more about Ellis Faas at LondonMakeupGirl.com. Ellis Faas reviews are still a little thin on the ground, but if you check out her blog you will see lots of information about products, looks, and prices.

In honour of this momentous occasion and my new found love for Ellis Faas, I decided to take a few photos of the Ellis Faas products a la The Non-Blonde.  Occasionally she will take photos of her latest makeup acquisitions with her beautiful cats quietly playing with an eyeliner or powder pot (click here and here for examples of her work), so I have done the same with our pet sheep. Not exactly elegant, but I think you’ll agree these photos reveal a deep-seated sheep interest in Ellis Faas makeup…

Photos by me, with the help of Lamington, Stompy, and Woollamina.
