It’s taken me a while to try out my sample of Rodial Glamtox SPF 18 Active Daily Moisturiser. Rodial Glamtox is meant to combine “daily hydration with wrinkle plumping agents” according to the Rodial website. It is also contains a “muscle freezer”, which I was initially a little apprehensive at putting on my face.
The moisturiser smells fresh and pleasant, and the formula itself is quite light and sinks into the skin immediately. When I first put it on, I expected to feel a tingling or relaxing sensation, but all I felt was moisturiser being rubbed into my skin. Although this moisturiser is light, I found it very moisturising, and I didn’t need a separate eye cream.
Within a few minutes of application I could see a noticeable reduction in the lines on my face. When I looked in the mirror, I found I could still make the usual facial expressions, but my wrinkles didn’t ‘crease up’ as much when I smiled or frowned. I didn’t feel frozen at all. By the end of the day I was very pleased with the reduction of lines on my face.
My skin was visibly plumped, and my skin was soft to the touch. I loved seeing all those fine lines disappear, and the deeper wrinkles become less pronounced. It’s not a miracle, but it’s one of the most effective skin treatments I’ve come across.
The SPF of 18 is helpful, but I would still apply my usual SPF of 30 over the top.
I definitely want to get my hands on a full size of the Rodial SPF 18. I’m very interested to see what this moisturiser can do long term.
