I’ve been a fan of BagSnob.com and their never-ending discussion about high-end handbags for some time, but lately I’ve been enjoying ‘Frugal Snob’ as well – a category of theirs which features bags that are a bit more in my price range.
Now be warned, ‘frugal’ in this case actually refers to bags largely between USD $250 and $500, although there are a few exceptions. Perhaps not so frugal for some of us, but still great for getting a sense of current trends and an idea of birthday and Christmas suggestions you may like to discuss with friends and family! They also inform their readers of some great sales that are going on and give you their top picks. Some of their recent selections can be seen in the three photos above.
The next site I’ve been enjoying is FashionPhile.com, a site where you can purchase authenticated high-end vintage handbags and accessories such as these:
They authenticate all their stock and seem to update their site quite often. This is a great way to get your hands on some really beautiful high-end handbags for a fraction of the price they would charge us in Australia (if you could find them at all). They ship internationally for USD $44.

Heading to FashionPhile now…
I really want that Chanel purse… :O
Fashion Phile looks great, I checked it out yesterday. I’ve wanted a coloured Balenciaga for quite a while but even second hand they are still a fair whack!
I completely agree! I’d love to buy a full price Balenciaga or Chanel, but I think the only way I’m going to get my hands on either is through Fashionphile, even though it’s still quite expensive.
