So I thought I’d do an Outfit of the Day. I’m not sure this is something that I’d keep up with regularly, but I was inspired by the pretty background and the full length mirrors! It seemed a much more interesting background than my bathroom…

  1. That’s such a lovely dress, beautifully cut. I like your shoes too.

Thankyou so much! I’ve only recently discovered DVF dresses, and I’m in love :) The shoes are brilliant too. Beautifully made with the softest leather imaginable.

Adore!!! What a gorgeous dress and it fits you so well :) *wants* where do you tend to buy your DVF dresses?

Thankyou so much! I’ve been buying my DVF dresses from a girl I know in Queensland who is clearing out her closet, but DVF is also available from Shopbop, The Outnet, Net-a-Porter, and of course Neiman Marcus, Saks, and her own website. Ebay is worth a look too, but look out for fakes. If you’re buying a dress that is from Fall 2008 or newer, just make sure you see a photo of the holographic DVF tag they’re putting in all the clothing now. For anything older than Fall 2008, check out Ebay’s information on spotting a DVF fake:

These are the most relevant sections. I’ve just bought a DVF dress on Ebay myself, so we’ll see if I can spot a fake!

I do love this dress though. For reference, I’m an AU size 12, but I’m a US 8 in the dress above, and a US 10 in her wrap dresses :)
