I had this blush on my Ebay ‘watchlist’ for months before I finally bought it, even though it was only around USD $10. Why? I felt guilty at buying yet another blush for my collection without having used any of the others up. However, I’m really glad I gave in and bought this one, because I’ve been using it almost every day since I bought it. It gives the perfect glowy-cheek look for summer.
I haven’t included any pictures of me actually sporting Super/ Model because, try as I might, none of the pictures I took actually showed the subtle glow of this blush. Below is a picture of both sides of the pan swatched on my hand:
As you can see, the left side is a rosey-pink with a slight sheen, and the right side is a champagne-coloured highlight. They can be used separately, but I prefer to swirl my blush brush through both and apply:
The effect of both colours applied together is very pretty. Above is a light application, and you can see the glow that eminates from it. Below is a heavier application:
This is how I prefer to wear this blush even though it looks quite overdone when swatched on my hand. With a heavier application, the highlight is still apparent and gives a youthful, healthy glow to the cheeks. I sometimes add a little more pigment from the ‘blush’ side to the apples of my cheeks if I’m going for a flushed look.
Wear time is okay. I get about six hours before I have to reapply.
