An Ellis Faas Christmas – Holiday 2010

Available from Ellis Faas this Christmas is a Red Velvet Limited Edition Holder inspired by the warm interior and red-flocked wallpaper of her father’s library. She says that the room had the look and feel of “an English gentleman’s club”, so for someone like me who will buy pretty much anything based on an old-fashioned library, this is serious temptation, despite the 35 temperature I’m experiencing today in Australia. The cost will be USD $35.

Also available for Christmas is a set of three best-selling Ellis Faas products, comprised of:

- Creamy Lips “Ellis Red”in L101

- Ellis Eyes Light in E305

- Black Mascara E401

This would be a great gift for someone who wants an introduction to the brand, as you can achieve a pretty look with just these three and you will get a good idea of the textures on offer.  It will retail for USD $90.

These should be available from mid-November onwards, but for more information on the exact release date, you can ‘like’ the Ellis Faas Facebook Page (http://www.facebook.com/ellisfaas) or sign up for their newsletter at EllisFaas.com. If you’re in Australia, be aware that Mecca might not be stocking this collection, but you can always order from the Ellis Faas webshop.

I hear the exchange rate is still pretty good….

  2. Yes, definitely good idea to take advantage of the exchange rate.
I’ve heard nothing but good things about Ellis Faas but have never tried any of their products.
You have yet created ANOTHER lemming Sarah!!!

@ Sam indeed it is! I’m hoping that it holds out until I finish my Christmas shopping

@ Gabs they are great products indeed. I do find the pen packaging a bit fiddly, but the texture of the products is all worth it! Very beautiful.

    That packaging is absolutely gorgeous!

It’s really beautiful. I love the library angle. Pity it’s summer.

Ellis Faas stuff are amazing I stocked up on it during my recent trip to NYC too bad we don’t have a counter here in Chicago yet:)))

  7. Thanks for this post, it is actually the first time that I’ve realised how ridiculous the collections are for you in Australia and NZ! I mean, yes, stunning red can look amazing in the height of Summer but that’s an exception. Do they ever try and reverse the collection for you?

Thankyou for following my blog! :) I do love Ellis Faas – the textures are unbeatable! I hope you get a counter in Chicago soon :)

Wow, you’re an Aussie! That’s great! Hey there sister! :)

It’s so confusing when winter collections come out over here. I think it’s lucky that Aussie girls (generally) don’t have any hard-and-fast rules when it comes to seasons and makeup, but it would still be nice if we had some collections tailored for us. Kimberly (from PopCouture) and I are trying to start a trend of red lips for spring/summer, but we don’t think it’ll catch on ;)
