Following on from the post below featuring the entire Shiro Cosmetics Intertube Collection and swatches, here are the Intertubes applied to my lips and a few comments to go with them:
Over 9000 is much brighter than I thought it would be, and I certainly like bright lipsticks, but I’m not sure about this colour on me.
Love Yo Dawg. For those of you who have been a bit apprehensive about buying purple lipstick, this is a good middle-ground between pink and purple. Love this for winter.
Good God, this is foul on me. I’m all for experimenting with different colours, but this is an atrocity on my lips.
Surprisingly pretty. I thought this would be much lighter, but there’s actually enough colour in this to make it very wearable. Reminds me of a slightly darker version of Barry M’s LipPaint in #149.
I don’t think Numa Numa does a whole lot for me. It’s a bit blah on the lips: a bit brown and a bit orange.
Sad Keanu reminds me of the Rouge D’Armani #604 that I have in my collection. A great way to experiment with deeper purples if you’re not sure you want to make the investment.
Thsi is surprisingly good . My lips have a habit of turning brown lipsticks into something much more wearable than a swatch would imply.
This is more of a summer colour on me. Orange, yes, but with a slightly pink undertone which makes it comfortable to wear.
Love it – one of my favourites. This is a great red that hangs around for hours. If you need a red that lasts through your work day and doesn’t give you the dreaded ‘line’, consider this one.
Gives the lips a really healthy sheen. It actually looks really pretty on its own.
So there you have it! If you’re interested in any of these, bear in mind that each of them is scented, so check that the scent is something that won’t bother you. I don’t find that the scent hangs around for very long anyway. I find these wear really well: comfortable and non-drying, even on my very dry lips.

@Michelle Those are good options! I’m going to play around a little more with Over 9000 and see if I’m any happier with it. Wore Three Wolf Man again today and am very happy with it. What a shame you don’t like minty things! Longcat is quite lovely
lol at the Robe and Wizard hat, it looks like you have hypothermia. The others look wonderful though! I didn’t think they would translate so nice. Three Wolf Man reminds me of that perfect color I get eating red popsicles but can never find as a lip stick or gloss.
