I’ve been playing around with different shampoos and conditioners lately, which has left my hair a little drier than it usually is. This means breakage. Lately, every time I try to brush my wet hair I hear that tell-tale snapping sound.
I’ve read about the Tangle Teezer on a few different blogs now, so I thought I’d give it a go. It promises to detangle your hair whether it is wet or dry, and also to add shine.
On first inspection this looks like something you’d use to brush a racehorse, but once you start moving it through your hair you realise it actually does work. As my hair is quite thick I need to brush it from the top and from underneath, but this little brush handles both methods no problem.
I can start from the root of my hair and move down, rather than starting from the bottom and brushing small sections at a time. Thus, it saves me lots of time (and pain) in the morning. Cleaning is easy too as it’s entirely made of plastic, so I can just run it under warm water and allow it to air dry.
I would love it if the Tangle Teezer had a handle, as I find it a little slippy at times. However, I’m willing to overlook this as it does such a great job of detangling my hair, and makes my hair really shiny.
Tangle Teezer is available from TangleTeezer.com for around AUD $24 (depending on the exhange rate) inlcuding shipping.
