So I finally got to try a bottle of the famed Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair, and I like it.
It doesn’t give me the *kapow* amazing skin results of Skinceuticals Retinol 0.5, but it’s a really decent serum that I can use every day and leaves my skin looking slightly plumped and very clear in the morning.
The product sinks in quickly and doesn’t leave any greasy residue. It is hydrating, but I find in winter I need to use a moisturiser over the top. It is also true that a little goes a long way with this product, as a 10 cent-sized amount will cover your face, neck, and decolletage.
In short, it’s not a miracle product, but it is a decent product which does what it claims to. It repairs the skin overnight better than your average moisturiser and gives you more radiant skin to start your day.
You can purchase a sample from Ebay from v_darkbloom for USD $22.90 including shipping. As far as I’m aware, Australian girls can only get this at their local Estee Lauder counter or EsteeLauder.com.au for AUD $105 for 30 mls.
