MuLondon: Organic White Chocolate Truffle Moisturiser

My obsession with MuLondon products continues with the Organic White Chocolate Truffle Moisturiser, which the company’s founder, Boris, kindly included with my most recent order.

I’m not generally one for ‘foody’ scents, but I really enjoy this. The White Chocolate scent is certainly there, and real, but the Truffle scent stops the White Chocolate from getting too sweet and lends and earthiness to the scent overall.  It’s got a very rare white extract of cocoa butter and an organic extract of Bourbon Vanilla, which gives the moisturiser its high-quality scent.

I’ve been applying the Organic White Chocolate Truffle Moisturiser in the morning, and the Rose Otto Moisturiser at night, and I’m still impressed by how well the products sink in and how luxurious they feel. When I apply an MuLondon Moisturiser, the first thing I do is smell the scent in the little jar as a quick bit of aromatherapy, then I take a small amount, rub between my fingers, and apply to my face, neck, and chest.  My skin feels like velvet when I apply MuLondon moisturiser, and I love that the ingredients are so natural and the product doesn’t contain any ‘fillers’.  Making DIY Vitamin C serums of my own, I appreciate how many high-quality ingredients go into this, and how much time goes into getting the formula just right.

The cost is incredibly reasonable for such an outstanding product. The Organic White Chocolate Truffle Moisturiser costs £7 for a 30ml jar and £13 for a 60ml jar (which I usually buy, because I can’t be without these moisturisers). Shipping is very quick, and usually costs around £3 to Australia. MuLondon Moisturisers are all organic and suitable for vegans.

This sounds divine and I can’t believe how reasonable priced it is – even postage is cheaper than if we were ordering a product within Australia. Might have to check it out…though sounds like it could be quite dangerous if I did!!

  2. Dempeaux says:

@Sarah That’s right! I was quite staggered by the tiny price of shipping when I first ordered from MuLondon. We’re so used to paying huge shipping in Oz! It’s such a wonderful product – I hope you like it too 🙂

  3. I have never even heard of this brand but I have just bookmarded the link. This moisturiser sounds divine, I absolutely love sweet scents. But I am a little worried that I might feel like eating chocolate when smelling it? That would be a bad start in the day hehe

  4. Dempeaux says:

@Beeneelicious From what you say, I think you would enjoy this moisturiser. Good point about the chocolate eating! This doesn’t make me want to eat chocolate at all, but I know what you mean. I bought a Haus of Gloi chocolate moisturiser not long ago that actually had me running to the fridge to scoff chocolate biscuits! :O

  5. Stacey says:

Mmm, your description makes this sound like it smells divine. And OMG that shipping is super cheap. Win.

  6. Dempeaux says:

    @Stacey Absolutely! Double win! 😀

  7. Jen W says:

Sounds so scrumptious! I totally agree on the quality of the ingredients- Boris really spoils us in that respect.

  8. Jeanie says:

This sounds amazing! I wonder what the shipping would be to the states? I bet my mother would enjoy this as well- esp for the winter season! xx

  9. I’ve been using it for few years and it is excellent wholesome product and the White Chocolate is a delight. A lot of care and love has gone into this.

  10. Dempeaux says:

@Jen Absolutely! Us DIY-ers know all about the importance of quality ingredients! 🙂

  11. Dempeaux says:

@Jeanie Shipping is £3 to the States. It’s great in winter 🙂

  12. Dempeaux says:

@Neda Another MuLondon fan! Yes, I think a lot of care and love has gone into these products, and the quality shows! 🙂

  13. Jessica says:

This sounds delicious. Maybe too delicious… Do you think I would be tempted to eat the product? lol.

  14. Dempeaux says:

@Jessica Haha! I cannot vouch for this product after consumption 😉

  15. Eva says:

I must say I am very intrested in this moisturiser now, infact I’m trying to refrain myself from buying it, (I have countless numbers of moisturisers that will probably last me till I’m about 80, sad I know) I’m loving that it’s natural, love your blog keep up the great work! x

  16. Dempeaux says:

@Eva Well, when you use up a few more moisturisers, you must give this a try ;). Thanks for the compliment on my blog! Much appreciated x
