I didn’t mean to buy the Kilimanjaro eyeshadow duo. I was infact looking around for a good deal on the NARS Kalahari eyeshadow duo; but amongst all my research, testing of colours, and blogging, I confused somewhere very warm for somewhere very cold, and Kilimanjaro ended up in my letterbox. My first reaction was to leave it in pristine condition so I could resell it on Ebay, but after a few weeks of it sitting in the box, a friend convinced me to give it a go, and I’m very glad she did.
This duo is all you need in a highlighter. I initially started using this a lot because I’m trying to save my beloved Chanel Luna, which was a limited edition highlight product that’s now been discontinued. However, the more I use Kilimanjaro, the more I like it. My favourite would have to be the gold, as it shows up the best on my fair skin and works really well as a cheek highlight with an angled brush (hence the messy pan in the photos above). I use the pinkish-peach highlight when I’m after a highlight that’s a notch more subtle, but like the gold, I think it works really well as a brow, inner corner, or cheek highlight. Plus, it will last you forever.
I bought mine from makeupboutique for USD $30.00 plus $8.00 shipping to Australia (you get to choose the duo that you want from a list), but you can now buy this duo from strawberrynet01 for USD $30 including shipping to Australia.
